The IX “Creating Synergies” Congress – IX congreso de I+d+i – is an outstanding opportunity to exchange experiences and show the research performed in the Campus of Alcoy of Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV)

This conference was born in 2013 promoted by the Campus of Alcoy of UPV and is addressed to researchers whose main goal is to present their most recent lines of research and thus generate ideas and synergies in which to collaborate among the different research groups. In its first edition, 8 research groups formed by 45 researchers presented their strengths and had a total of 40 communications. In the 2022 edition, Raquel Sanchis from Research Centre of Production Management and Engineering (CIGIP) of UPV presented the CONTINUITY Project.

The UPV is responsible for developing the first of five module for the CONTINUITY project, which addresses Organizational Resilience. The goal of this module is to prepare companies to anticipate key events related to emerging hazards and to the constant need to adapt to change.

This module is composed by different learning units, nmely:

• The fundamentals of organisational resilience
• Assessing the training needs of end-users
• Actions to cope with current threats
• Assessing and improving the capacity of organisations using the Self-Assessment Tool for Enhancing Enterprise Resilience (SATIER)
